	CHAPTER 302.
	AN ACT to repeal and re-enact sections thirty-five
	and forty-six of article fourteen of the Public
	Local Laws of Kent county, relating to the election
	of Commissioners of Chestertown, and to the
	assessment and valuation of property within the
	limits of Chestertown, for the purpose of corporate
	taxation.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That sections thirty-five and forty six of the Public Local Laws, title "Kent county,"	Repealed and re-enacted
	sub-title "Chestertown," be and the same are hereby
	repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
	SEC. 35. SUB-SECTION 1. There shall be three
	Commissioners for Chestertown, all taxpayers upon	Elect com-
	real or leasehold property in said town, and at least	missioners.

	of three years ; the first election for commissioners
	under this act shall take place on the fourth Mon-
	day of April, eighteen hundred and eighty; immedi-
	ately after said commissioners shall be assembled in
	consequence of the first election, they shall be divided by lot into three classes ; the seat of the commissioner	Divided into
