	SEC. — . And, be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That said chapter two hundred and
	forty-two of the acts of eighteen hundred and sev-
	enty-six does not and shall not apply to or authorize
	the incorporation or construction of any elevated
	railroad, or of any other railroad, except a surface	Must have

	CHAPTER 293.
	AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General As-
	sembly of Maryland to the bequest of Elizabeth
	Catherine Erb, late of Carroll county, of the sum
	of one hundred dollars, to St. Mary's Reformed
	Church of Silver Run, Carroll county.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the sanction of the General As-
	sembly be and the same is hereby given and de-	Sanction giv-
