CHAPTER 290.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to amend the act to incorporate a com-
|
|
|
|
|
pany for the establishment of a Public Ceme-
|
|
|
|
|
tery of Elkton, Maryland, passed by the Gen-
|
|
|
|
|
eral Assembly of Maryland, and approved April
|
|
|
|
|
eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, chap-
|
|
|
|
|
ter three hundred and seventy-four.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the President and Managers of
|
|
|
|
|
the Elkton Cemetery shall have power to desig-
|

nate the person or persons who, in their judg-

ment, are proper and qualified to be entrusted with
the digging, filling and walling of graves and ma-
|
|
|
|
|
king all excavations for burial purposes in their
said cemetery grounds, and to prohibit said work

|
|
|
from being done by any other person.

AN ACT to repeal section twenty-five of article
|
|
|
|
|
thirteen of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-
|
|
|
|
|
titled "Howard county," sub-title "Justices
|
|
|
|
|
of the Peace and Constables," and to re-enact
|
|
|
|
|
the same with amendments so as to read as fol-
|
|
|
|
|
lows:
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That section twenty-five of ar-
|
|
|
|
|
ticle thirteen of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Howard county," sub-title "Justices of
|
Repealed and
re-enacted
|
|
|
|
the Peace and Constables," be and the same is
|
|
|
|
|
hereby repealed and amended and re-enacted so
|
|
|
|
|
as to read as follows :
