crossings in a manner satisfactory to the county com-

missioners of the county where said road is located,

it shall be the duty of the said county commissioners

to close the old road and grade crossings, and it shall

be lawful for such company to close the former

grade crossing.

Effeclive.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact section one,

chapter three hundred and eighty-eight, of the

titled "An act to prohibit stock from running at
