CHAPTER 281.

AN ACT to continue the corporate existence of the

Thistle Manufacturing Company of Baltimore

county.

WHEREAS by the limitation contained in an act

of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed on

the twenty-third day of January, eighteen hundred

and sixty, entitled an act supplementary to the Act

of Assembly passed at December session, eighteen

hundred and thirty-four, chapter two hundred and

forty-three, entitled "An act to incorporate the

Thistle Manufacturing Company," and amending

and extending the same, the corporate existence of

the said company was continued in force until the

first day of January, eighteen hundred and eighty,

and until the expiration of the present session of the

General Assembly ; and whereas it is the desire of

the owners of the capital stock of said company

that its corporate existence should be continued;

therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the corporate existence of

county be and the same is hereby continued in force
until altered and repealed by the General Assembly

of Maryland, with all powers and privileges now en-

joyed by said corporation.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from and after the date of its passage.
