CHAPTER 238.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay

George P. Albaugh, late Collector of State taxes

in Carroll county, the amount overpaid by him

into the treasury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of this-

State be and he is hereby authorized and directed

to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer of this State

to pay to George P. Albaugh, of Carroll county, the

sum of twenty-two dollars and fifty-three cents, be-

ing the amount overpaid by said George P. Albaugh

into the treasury, as collector of State taxes for the

seventh district of Carroll county, as certified to by

the Comptroller and Treasurer of this State.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 239.

AN ACT to repeal section fifty-four of article ten of

the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Dorchester

county," sub-title " Cambridge," relating to the

limits of said town, and to re-enact the same with

amendments so as to read as follows :
