CHAPTER 204.

AN ACT to repeal section fifty-seven of article eight

of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Cecil

County," sub-title "County Commissioners," re-

lating to the animal salary and compensation of

the clerk to the county commissioners of said coun-

ty, and re-enact the same with amendments, as

follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That section fifty-seven of article

eight of' the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Cecil

to the county commissioners, be and the same is here-

by repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

57. He shall receive annually, as a compensation

for all services and duties of whatsoever kind per-

formed by him whilst clerk by the direction or au-

thority of said commissioners, a sum not to exceed

bond to the county commissioners in the sum of

twenty thousand dollars for the faithful performance

of his duty as such clerk.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts
