	CHAPTER 191.
	AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact section one
	hundred and thirty-five of article twelve of the
	Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford coun-
	ty," sub-title " Sheriff," as amended and re-enacted
	by chapter one hundred and thirty-five of the act
	passed at January session, eighteen hundred and
	sixty-eight, and as further amended and re-enacted
	by chapter three hundred and forty of the acts
	passed at January session of eighteen hundred and
	seventy-two, and section one hundred and thirty-
	six of said article as amended and re-enacted by
	chapter two hundred and forty-two of the acts
	passed at January session of eighteen hundred and
	seventy-four.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted ty the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That section one hundred and
	thirty five of article twelve of the Code of Public
	Local Laws, title " Harford county," sub-title " Sher-
	iff," as amended and re-enacted by chapter one hun-
	dred and thirty-five of the acts passed at January
	session, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, and as
	further amended and re-enacted by chapter three	Repealed, a-
	hundred and forty of the acts passed at January	mended and
	session, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, and sec-	re-enacted.

	amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
	135. The sheriff of Harford county shall not be
	entitled to receive more than thirty-five cents per	Allowance to
	day for keeping and boarding each prisoner confined in said jail, and the county commissioners shall make	sheriff.
	quarterly settlements with said sheriff upon his pre-
	senting his account for the same with proper vouchers.
