CHAPTER 158.

AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of

Washington county to pay the sum of four thou-

sand five hundred dollars, as evidenced by the ex-

istence of certain unpaid bonds issued under the

act of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chapter

nineteen.

WHEREAS by an act of the General Assembly of

the State of Maryland, passed at the January session

of eighteen hundred and sixty-six, chapter nineteen,

the County Commissioners of Washington county

were authorized to issue bonds to the amount of one

hundred and fifty thousand dollars ; and whereas the

said issue of bonds having been called in, the ex-

istence of an over-issue of said bonds representing

the sum of four thousand five hundred dollars has

been discovered in the hands of innocent holders.

Assembly of the State of Maryland, That the
