CHAPTER 154.

AN ACT to incorporate the Annapolis Eoad Turn
|

pike Company of Baltimore county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
|
|
|

bly of Maryland, That Joseph M. Brian, jr., Thomas
Pumphrey, William A. Shipley, Patrick O'Brien,

and Edward W. Stiefel, be and they are hereby ap-

pointed commissioners to take subscriptions to the
|
|
|

capital stock of the Annapolis Road Turnpike Com-

pany, hereby incorporated, and they or a majority
of them may cause books to be opened at such times

and places, and for such period or periods, upon giv-

ing notice as they may deem expedient, of the times

and places of opening the same; and if any of such

commissioners shall die, resign or refuse to act, an-

other or others may be appointed in his or their

stead by a majority of the remaining commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the subscribers

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That when two hun-
