CHAPTER 153.

AN ACT further to amend an act, entitled " An act
|
|
|
|
to incorporate the Woodberry Manufacturing Com-
|
|
|
|
pany of Baltimore county."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the second section of the act
|
|
|
|
passed at January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, chapter four hundred and sixty-three, entitled
"An act to incorporate the Woodberry Manufacturing
|
Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
|
|
Company of Baltimore county," be and the same is
|
|
|
|
hereby repealed, and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
|
|
|
|
lows:
|
|
|
|
SECTION 2. The capital stock of the said corpora-
|

tion shall not exceed the sum of two millions of dol-

lars, and shall be divided into shares of one hundred
|
|
|
|
dollars each, to be distributed amongst the said cor-
|
|
|
|
porators and their associates in proportion to their
|

|

respective interests; and such shares shall be deemed
|
|
|
|
and taken to be personal estate and shall be trans-
|
|
|
|
ferable only on the books of the corporation, and in
|
|
|
|
such manner as may be prescribed by the by-laws
|
|
|
|
thereof; and the owners of said shares shall in virtue
