No person

any manner catch, kill, or have in possession in Tal

each and every year; nor any woodcock between the

first day of January and the fifteenth day of June,

in each and every year; nor shall any person, wilful-

molest the eggs or nests of the said birds, at any

time, in said county.

|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|

bly of Maryland; That any person who shall be

convicted before a justice of the peace of said county,
|
|
|
|
of violating the preceding section, shall pay a fine of
|
|
|
|
ten dollars for each and every partridge, woodcock,
|
|
|
|
or rabbit shot, or in any manner caught, killed or in
|
|
|
|
their possession, or for any partridge trapped, or for
|
|
|
|
any partridge eggs or nests wilfully or maliciously
|
|
|
|
molested or destroyed, contrary to the preceding
|
|
|

section; and in default of payment of fine or fines
|
|
|
paying fines.

imposed hereunder, together with the costs, the of-
|
|
|
|
fender shall be committed to jail for not less than
|
|
|
|
five nor more than thirty days for each offence, and
|
|
|
|
the non-payment of eacn and every fine shall be con-
|
|
|
|
sidered a separate offence within the meaning here-
|
|
|

SEC. 3. And be it enacted by the General Assem-
