CHAPTER 12.

AN ACT to prevent the sale of intoxicating drinks

in the village of Brookeville, in Montgomery
|
|
|

county, and within three miles of the said village.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That from and after the first day
|
|
|

the Circuit Court for Montgomery county, in this
State, to issue a license to any person to sell intoxi-

cating drinks, at any time, in the village of Brook-

ville, or within three miles of said village.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
|
|
effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|

CHAPTER 13.
|

|
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Governor
|
|
|
|
to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace in
|
|
|
|
the first election district of Queen Anne's county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|

hereby authorized and empowered to appoint an ad-

|

ditional Justice of the Peace in and for the first
|
|
|
|
election district in Queen Anne's county in addition
|
|
|
|
to those now required to be appointed by existing

|
|
|
laws.

|
|
Effective.
|
