CHAPTER 115.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and seventy
|
|
|
|
of article twenty-two of the Public Local Laws,
|
|
|
|
relating to Worcester county, as enacted by chap-
|
|
|
|
ter one hundred and forty-six of the laws of eigh-
|
|
|
|
teen hundred and seventy-six, entitled " An act to
|
|
|
|
enable the qualified voters of Worcester county
|
|
|
|
to determine by ballot whether spirituous or fer-
|
|
|
|
mented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or
|
|
|
|
shall be sold only as hereinafter described," and
|
|
|
|
to repeal all acts inconsistent herewith, and to re-
|
|
|
|
enact the same with amendments.

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That section one hundred and seventy
|
|
|
|
of article twenty-two of the Public Local Laws, re-
|
|
|
|
lating to Worcester county, as enacted by chapter
|
|
|
|
one hundred and forty-six of the laws of eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy-six, entitled "An act to enable
|
|
|

170. No person who shall obtain a license under
|
|
|
|
this act shall sell or barter any intoxicating, spirit-
ous, vinous or fermented liquors to any minor, ex-
|
|
|
|
cept upon the written, order of his parent, guardian
|
|
|
|
or employer, or to any person intoxicated at the
|
|
|
|
time, but any hotel-keeper licensed under this act
|
|
|

may sell intoxicating, spirituous or fermented liquors
to all other persons in drinks to be drank upon the
|
|
|
|
premises, but not otherwise, and any storekeeper
|
|
|
|
licensed under the provisions of this act may sell
|
|
|
|
the same by measure in any quantity not less than
|
|
|
|
one pint, in accordance with the license issued
|
|
|
|
under the provisions of this act, which liquor thus
|
