CHAPTER 106.

AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and
|
|
|
|
|
eighty-four of the acts passed at January session,
|
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, relating to
|
|
|
|
|
''Wild Fowl," and to enact the following in lieu
|
|
|
|
|
thereof, and in lien of section sixteen of the orig-
|
|
|
|
|
inal act.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That chapter three hundred and
|
|
|
|
|
eighty-four of the acts passed at January session,
|

eighteen hundred and seventy-four, relating to " Wild
Fowl," be and the. same is hereby repealed, and the
|
enacted ill
lieu.

|
|
|
following is enacted in lieu thereof, and in lieu of
|
|
|
|
|
section sixteen of the original act.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 16. From and after the passage of this
|
|
|
|
|
act, and every two years thereafter, the Governor
|

shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the
|
Board of Spe-

|
|
|
Senate, a Board of Special Police, who shall hold
|

|
|
|
their offices until their successors qualify, or during
|
|
|
|
|
the pleasure of the Governor. The said Board of
|
|
|
|
|
Special Police shall consist of two citizens of Har-
|
|
|
|
|
ford and two citizens of Cecil county. The said
|
|
|
|
|
Board of Special Police shall have power to appoint
|
|
|
|
|
as many deputies, to be chosen from among those
|
|
|
|
|
who have taken out license under the provisions of
|
|
|
|
|
this act, as in their judgment may be necessary.
|
|
|
|
|
The said Board of Special Police and its deputies
|
|
|
|
|
shall have power to arrest, with or without warrant,
|

upon their own view, or upon credible information,
|
violations.

|
|
all persons violating any of the provisions of said
|
|
|
|
|
original act, or any of its supplements, and to carry
|
|
|
|
|
such person or persons before any justice of the
