Supplementary Proceedings.

140 A. Provisions of sections 136-140 to be applicable to recorded judgments
of justices of the peace.

140 A. The provisions of the foregoing sections of this sub-
title (designated as sections 136, 137, 138, 139 and 140) shall
be held to apply to judgments rendered before the justices of
the peace of the State of Maryland, provided the said judg-
ments shall have been recorded in the superior court of Balti-
more (if the same have been rendered in Baltimore city) or in
the circuit court of the counties where the same have been
rendered, and said superior court of Baltimore city and the
circuit court of the several counties shall have jurisdiction to
carry out the provisions of the said sections of this sub-title
and of this section.

Approved April 3, 1906.

ARTICLE LXXVI.

PUBLICATION OF LAWS.

1. How public general laws which are to take effect prior to June 1 after
their passage shall be published.
