1902 SHERIFFS. [ART. 87

[ART. 87

17. Shall serve all writs sent from
other counties; penalty, fine
for contempt.
18. Certificate of the fine for con-
tempt to be sent to court or
county wherein sheriff resides.
19. Return of writs to other counties
may be by mail; excuse for
non-return in time.
20. When fine may be remitted by
the court.
21. Judgment against, for failure to
return writs received from
other counties.
