IV ACT LEGALIZING THE CODE.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said John Prentiss
Poe be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to codify, upon
the general plan of the Code so prepared and submitted by him,
the public acts of this present session, and to incorporate the
same in a correct reprint of said Code, by such apt additions to,
amendments of and alterations in said Code as the public acts of
this session may render necessary, appending to said Code of
Public General Laws a full and complete analytical index.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That one copy of said
reprint of said Code of Public General and Public Local Laws,
with the public acts of this present session incorporated therein,
as provided in the preceding section, shall be deposited with the
clerk of the court of appeals as soon as the same can be prepared,
and when so deposited with him, the said clerk shall give his
official certificate of the fact of such deposit, and publish the
said certificate for ten days in two newspapers published in the
city of Baltimore, and thereupon the said reprint of said Code of
Public General and Public Local Laws, with the public acts of
this present session duly incorporated therein, as hereinbefore
provided, shall constitute and be the sole Code of Public General
and Public Local Laws of this State, and shall supersede and
.stand in the place of all public laws of this State whatsoever.
