900 CECIL COUNTY. [ART. S,

are drifting, shall be licensed as a sneak boat; and the special
police authorized to be appointed by section 398, are authorized
to arrest any person who may be discovered in the act of hunt-
ing or shooting crippled ducks, or in purloining ducks that have,
been killed by other persons having a proper license to shoot, as
well as other persons violating the provisions of this section, and
upon conviction thereof before any justice of the peace of Cecil
or Harford counties, the license of such person shall be revoked,
and such person, whether licensed or not, shall be fined not less
than twenty dollars for each offence, and shall forfeit the boat
and gun or guns, and material so employed in violation of the
provisions of this section, which boat and gun or guns, and material,
shall be sold, and the amount of such fire and proceeds of suck
sale, after the costs of prosecution have been paid, shall go to
the officer making the arrest; and the possession of any ducks or
gun, by any such boat so offending, shall be prima facie evidence:
of a violation of this section.

391. Every applicant, before obtaining such license, shall pay-
to the clerk of the circuit court to which he may apply for the
same, the following rates, viz: for a sink box, twenty dollars, and
for a sneak boat, five dollars, for each and every gunning season,
as fixed by section 381; and it shall be the duty of each and every
person obtaining a license, to exhibit the same whenever called,
upon by any officer of the State, or any other person authorized
to demand the same, or who may be empowered to enforce the
provisions of sections 380 to 402; and every sink box and sneak
boat used and employed in gunning after wild water-fowl, shall
be licensed as required by sections 388 to 402, and be subject to
all the provisions of the several sections thereof.

392. Each and every license so issued shall state the name and
residence of the person to whom the same may be granted, the
name or number of the sink box or sneak boat licensed, and the
county in which the same may be obtained, and the period at
which said license shall expire.
