369. Any person who shall charge, exact or receive more
than six and a quarter cents upon each cord of wood landed upon
any wharf in the said city, shall, upon complaint and conviction
thereof before any justice of the peace for said city, be fined not
less than five nor more than ten dollars in each case; one-half to
the informer and the other half to the State; to be recovered as
fines imposed by the courts of this State.

370. Any person carrying wood to Baltimore for sale may
land the same upon the State wharves whenever permitted to do
so by any tobacco inspector in the warehouse to which the wharf
is attached; but such permission shall not interfere with that
portion of the public wharves set apart for the use of boats laden
with tobacco.

371. The person landing wood upon the public wharves nnder
the preceding section shall pay to the tobacco inspector the sum
of six and a quarter cents a cord, to be by the said inspector paid
into the State treasury, and the inspector shall be allowed twenty per
cent, upon the money so received and paid into the State treasury.

372. The president of the board of trade of the city of Balti-
more, the president of the corn and flour exchange of the city of
Baltimore, and the mayor of the city of Baltimore are created
and constituted a board of commissioners to be styled the harbor
and river relief board of Baltimore.
