of the trustees of the poor of Baltimore city, and to prescribe the
powers and duties of such trustees.

1868, ch. 1.

33. All titles to property of any and every kind, held by the
trustees of the poor of Baltimore city, are transferred to and
vested in the mayor and city council of Baltimore, to all intents
and purposes; and all powers and privileges heretofore conferred
upon the said trustees of the poor of Baltimore city are transferred
to and conferred upon the mayor and city council of Baltimore,

34. Each trustee so appointed, before proceeding to act, shall
take and subscribe before the mayor the oath of office prescribed
in the sixth section of the first article of the constitution; and he
shall then be qualified and competent to perform all the duties of
trustee.

power vested in said corporation by section 32, the powers and
duties of the trustees of the poor of Baltimore city shall be such
as are prescribed in this sub-title of this article.
