and find it insufficient to keep out live stock not mischievous,
then in either event no damages shall be allowed for such trespass.
FOX HUNTERS.

105. Any person who shall be convicted of shooting any fox
whilst pursued by dogs in said county, shall be liable to a fine of
five dollars for each and every offence, to be recovered before
any justice of the peace of said county as other small debts are
recoverable.

106. The citizens of Girdle-Tree, in Worcester county, are
constituted a body corporate, by the name of "The Commis-
sioners of Girdle-Tree," and by that name may sue and be sued,
and have and use a common seal.

107. The limits of said town shall extend to the distance of
one-half of a mile each way, from the centre of the street, at a
point opposite to the Methodist Episcopal church in said town.

108. The male citizens of said town, of the age of twenty-
one years and upwards, who have resided in said town for six
months next preceding the election, shall elect by ballot on the
first Monday in June, annually, five freeholders, who have resided
in said town for six months next preceding said election, as com-
missioners of said town.

109. All elections shall be held and conducted as shall from
time to time be directed by the laws of said corporation, not in-
consistent with this sub-title of this article.

110. At their first meeting after an election, the said commis-
sioners shall elect one of their number president of the board, who
shall preside at their meetings and preserve order and enforce the
provisions of this charter and the ordinances of said corporation.
