and any person convicted thereof shall forfeit and pay a fine of
not less than fifty nor more than one hundred dollars.

69. Any person of full age and of good moral character may
be licensed to sell intoxicating liquors on complying with the
same conditions as required from persons applying for a license
to keep an inn or tavern as hereinbefore mentioned, except that
the description of his place of business, and amount of stock,
shall vary according to the nature thereof, both in his applica-
tion and certificate of recommendations of freeholders; provided,
that in case of a license being granted, it shall not authorize him
to sell a less quantity than one-half gallon, or permit the same
to be drunk on his premises when bought.

70. Any person of full age and of good moral character may

the oyster or eating-house license, in quantities less than a pint,
on complying with the same conditions as required from persons
applying for a license to keep an inn or tavern as hereinbefore
mentioned, except that the description of his house of business
and stock shall vary according to the nature thereof, both in his
application and certificate of recommendation of freeholders.

71. No manufacturer of spirituous of fermented liquors for
sale shall sell in less quantities than one pint, to be taken away
at one and the same time; he shall not sell, give away or dispense
any liquor to be drunk on his premises to any person or at any
time when an innkeeper might not lawfully do the same; he
shall not sell any liquor not manufactured by himself, nor mix,
compound or distill the same with his own; and any manufac-
turer violating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon
conviction thereof, pay a fine of one hundred dollars and costs,
or shall be imprisoned not less than one nor more than six
months, or both, in the discretion of the court.

72. Every sale, gift or disposal of liquor shall be presumed to
be made by the occupier of the premises where the same was
