329. Every public local law for "Washington county, made to
take effect before the first day of June next after the session at
which it may be passed, shall immediately after its passage be
published by the county commissioners, in at least one newspaper,
printed and published in the county, once in each of three succes-
sive weeks; and the county commissioners shall also advertise or
publish all other matters that it may be necessary for them to
advertise or publish in the county, in at least one newspaper,
printed and published in the county; and they shall provide for
the payment of the expenses of such publication and advertising,

330. The county commissioners shall not pass or order the
payment of any account for fuel, paper or stationery for the
register of wills for said county.

331. No road shall be constructed in Washington county, so-
as to pass between any dwelling-house and spring, well or reser-
voir of water used and necessary for family purposes, without
permission of the owner; provided, such spring, well or reservoir
is not situated more than two hundred yards from the dwelling-
house ; and provided also, that the tenants in possession of said
dwelling are the legal and bona fide proprietors of the premises
upon which both said dwelling, spring or reservoir are situated.

332. No road shall be opened or altered so as to pass through
the buildings, yards, garden, burial ground or orchard of any
person, without the consent of the owner thereof.
