peace and good order of said town, or shall obstruct the streets
or sidewalks in any manner, it shall be lawful; and it is made the
duty of the bailiff of said town, or the sheriff, or constable, or
other municipal officers of Talbot county, to arrest such person,
and take him before some justice of the peace for Talbot county;
and upon conviction the said offender shall be fined not less than
fifty cents or more than twenty dollars, with costs; the said fine
to go to the use of said town; and in default of the payment of
said fine and costs, the party shall be committed to the county
jail for not more than thirty days, or until the fine and costs shall
be paid.

232. It shall be lawful for the bona fide citizens of Talbot
county to shoot wild fowl from sink boxes in the waters of said
county, inclusive of the waters of Eastern bay; provided, that the
waters where said boxes are used shall not be less than three hun-
dred yards in width.

233. No person shall, during the hours intervening between
twilight at evening and twilight of the following morning, shoot
or kill, or shoot at, by an artificial light, any wild fowl in the
waters of Talbot county, nor shall any wild fowl be captured by
nets or traps of any kind, in the waters of said county, at any
time.

234. The violation of either of the two preceding sections
shall be a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a
justice of the peace for said county, the offender shall be
fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred
dollars, and the boat, gun and other apparatus used shall be
confiscated and sold at public auction, one-half of said fine
to go to the informer, and the officer making the arrest to
be entitled to a fee of ten dollars upon the sale of said gun,
boat and apparatus, as aforesaid; the balance of the fine and
proceeds of said sale shall go to the county commissioners, for
the use of the county.
