CIRCUIT COURT.

P. L. L., (1860,) art. 20, sec. 25.

28. There shall be two terms of the circuit court for Talbot
county, commencing at Easton on the third Monday of May and
the third Monday of November in each year.

29. The judges of the circuit court for said county, in their
discretion, may appoint intermediate terms between the circuit
court terms, for the transaction of equity or other business, to
which said terms process shall also be returnable.

CLERK AND REGISTER OF WILLS.

1876, ch. 85.

30. It shall be the duty of the clerk of the circuit court, and
the duty of the register of wills of Talbot county, to keep the
public records belonging to their respective offices, stored in the
fire-proof vaults of the court-house, at all times except when said
records are being used; and the bonds of said clerk and of said
register shall be liable for the loss or destruction of any of said
records not so kept in said vaults.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

31. There shall be three county commissioners for Talbot
county.

32. They shall appoint a clerk, who shall receive such com-
pensation as they shall think proper to allow, not exceeding
twelve hundred dollars per annum.

33. The said clerk shall take an oath as other officers, and
shall execute a bond to the State of Maryland, with such security
as the county commissioners shall approve, in the penalty of one
thousand dollars, conditioned for the true and faithful perform-
ance of his duty, which shall be recorded in the office of the
clerk of the circuit court for said county.
