13. The said overseer shall keep a regular list of all poor,
vagrants, vagabonds, and other offenders committed to said
almshouse, and shall lay the same before the trustees when
required.

14. He shall keep, and on the first Monday of April in each
year shall return to the said trustees, under oath administered by
one of said trustees, a regular account in writing of all the
stock, farming utensils and other things that may come to his
hands, with a statement of the crops or other articles made on
the lands belonging to said almshouse, and an account of all the
expenses attending the maintenance and support of the inmates
thereof, and of all moneys received by him for the sales of the
produce of their labor or otherwise; which said statements and
accounts the said trustees shall lay before the county commis-
sioners at their meeting in April.

15. He may compel any of the inmates of the said almshouse,
if of sufficient ability, to work, and may sell and account as
aforesaid for the produce of their labor.

16. At their annual meeting in May, they shall appoint one
of their own body as their clerk, whose duty it shall be to keep
their accounts and prepare all necessary statements for settlement
with the county commissioners, and for whose compensation the
said commissioners may allow such sum as they may think
proper.

17. They shall dispose of all products arising from the culti-
vation of the land belonging to said almshouse, over and above
what may be necessary for the maintenance of the inmates
thereof; and the amount of money arising from such sales, after
paying all the expenses of said almshouse and farm, shall annu-
ally, on the first Tuesday of June, be returned on oath and paid
over to the county commissioners; and in case the products of
