of ten dollars for each and every year, dating from November
first in each year; and it shall be the duty of each and every
person obtaining a license to exhibit the same whenever called
upon by any officer of the State, or any person holding a license
of the same kind, who is hereby created an officer to enforce the
provisions of this sub-title of this article; and every sink-box
used and employed in gunning after wild water-fowl shall be
licensed as required by this sub-title of this article and be subject
to all the provisions of the several sections thereof applicable
thereto.

264. Every applicant for a license for the use of a sink-box
shall be required to make oath before the clerk of the circuit

court for Queen Anne's county, that he has been a bona fide
resident of said county for the twelve months next preceding his
application for said license; that he will not permit, in any way,
said sink-box to be used or employed by any non-resident of the

ounty, and that he will obey and comply with all the provisions
of this sub-title of this article; and every person to whom such
license may be granted shall be required to paint the number of
his sink-box on some prominent part thereof, in legible numbers,
to correspond with the number of the license.

265. The clerk of the circuit court for Queen Anne's county
shall be entitled to charge fifty cents for the issuing of the said
license, and he shall keep a register of the names and residences
of the persons to whom he shall issue license, and the number of
the sink-box, described by number, in said license, and a correct
account of the money received for each license, which sum of
money shall be paid over to the county commissioners, for the
use of the public schools of the county.

266. Any one who shall take out a license under the provi-
sions of this sub-title of this article shall be made an officer with
power and authority to arrest, without warrant, all persons who
may be detected by him in violating any of the provisions of this
sub-title of this article, and to seize the box, boats, decoys, tackle
