1690 QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY. [ART. 18.

threats or otherwise, shall attempt to intimidate any elector or
judge of any election held under this sub-title of this article, or in
any manner interfere with or disturb any such election, shall be
fined not more than one hundred dollars, or imprisoned not more
than thirty nor less than twenty days in said house of correction
or the jail of Queen Anne's county.

157. Any delegate elected under this sub-title of this article-
to any convention, who shall ask or receive, either directly or indi-
rectly, any money or other property whatsoever from any candi-
date for nomination to any office whatsoever, shall be fined not
more than two hundred and fifty nor less than fifty dollars, or
imprisoned in the house of correction, or the jail of Queen Anne's-
county, not more than three months nor less than one month.

158. Any candidate for nomination to any office, before any
convention to which delegates are elected under this sub-title of
this article, who shall pay or promise to pay, directly or indirectly,
any money or property to any delegate for the purpose of obtain-
ing his influence or vote for such nomination in such convention,
shall be fined not more than five hundred nor less than one hun-
dred dollars, or be imprisoned not more than three months nor
less than one month in the house of correction, or in the jail of
Queen Anne's county.

159. If, at any election held under the terms of this sub-title-
of this article, any person shall knowingly personate any voter, or
vote in the name of any other person, whether living, dead or
fictitious, or shall vote more than once at the same election, or shall
vote without having a lawful right to vote, or shall unlawfully pre-
vent any qualified voter from freely exercising his right to vote, or
interfere in any manner with any judge or clerk of such election in
the discharge of his duties, or if any of said judges, clerks or
member of the said State central committee of said county shall
knowingly and intentionally fail to perform any of the duties
required of them, respectively, by this sub-title of this article, he
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished, upon conviction,
