65. The citizens of the town heretofore known as Hunting-
ion, in Prince George's county, are constituted a body corpo-
rate by the name of "The Commissioners of Bowie," and by
that name may have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, and
have and use a common seal.

66. The limits and extent of said town shall be the same as
laid down and platted on the official pkt of Huntington as filed
and recorded in the office of the clerk of the circuit court for
Prince George's county.

67. The said board of commissioners are empowered, when-
ever requested by a majority of the legal voters within the
limits of the proposed extension, to extend and enlarge the limits
of said corporation, by having the contemplated extension sur-
veyed and the bounds thereof established, a copy of which sur-
vey shall be recorded among the records of the corporation.

68. The legal voters of the town, who have resided therein
for the space of six months next preceding the election, shall
elect by ballot, on the first Monday in April in each and every
year, at such place as may be designated by the board of com-
missioners, three commissioners of the town, who shall have re-
sided within the limits of the same at least one year next preced-
ing the election, and who shall be property holders within said
limits.

69. All elections shall be held and conducted as shall be direc-
ted by the laws of the corporation, not inconsistent with the
provisions of this charter.

70. The commissioners so elected, at their first meeting after
said election, shall choose one of their number as president of the
