26. It shall be unlawful for any person, knowingly, malic-
iously and unnecessarily, to destroy or disturb the eggs of any of
the birds protected by the preceding section.

27. Any person violating any of the provisions of the two-
preceding sections, on conviction thereof, shall be fined in any
sum not less than two dollars and not more than ten dollars for
each offence, with costs of prosecution; and all such prosecutions
shall be in the name of the State, before any justice of the peace-
of the election district in which such violation may occur; and of
all such fines, when collected, one-half shall be paid to the in-
former and the other half to the school commissioners of the
county, to be applied by them to the support of the public schools.

28. The possession by any person within said county, of any
of the birds protected by section 25, shot, trapped, killed or
otherwise destroyed, shall be prima facie evidence to make such
person liable to the fine for the violation of said section; and it
shall be the duty of all constables of said county to arrest all
persons whom they may detect in or who may be charged with
the violation of any of the provisions of section 25, and take
them before the nearest justice of the peace, to be dealt with as
directed by section 27.

29. It shall not be lawful for any person, not a resident of
Prince George's county or Anne Arundel county, to hunt, shoot,
kill, destroy, or in any way trap any birds within the limits of
said counties, at any season of the year, without the permission
of the owner of the land or marsh upon which said non-resident
may hunt.

30. Every person who shall be adjudged guilty of a violation
of the aforegoing section, before any justice of the peace of the
said counties, shall be fined the sum of five dollars, and the
gunning and other shooting apparatus of the party so convicted
