lic road in Montgomery county, or through the streets of any in-
corporated city or town in said county, so as at all times to have
the horse attached to the same under his control; and any teamster
or driver leaving the same whilst traveling on such turnpike, road
or street shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
before a justice of the peace, shall be fined not exceeding twenty
dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail for a term not ex-
ceeding thirty days, or both fined and imprisoned in the discretion.

178. The inhabitants of the town of Rockville, Montgomery
county, are a body corporate by the name of "The Mayor and
Council of Rockville," and by that name may have perpetual
succession, sue and be sued, and have and use a common seal.

179. The limits of said town shall begin at the southeast
corner of the fair grounds of the agricultural society of Mont-
gomery county, and run thence with the dividing line between
said fair grounds and the lands of the heirs of the late Lawrence
A. Dawson to the southwest corner of said fair grounds; thence
by a straight line to the southeast corner of the lands of E. B.
Prettyman, where said lands corner with the lands of Dr. E. E.
Stonestreet and Robert "W". Carter; thence with the dividing line
between the lands of Robert W. Carter and E. B. Prettyman to
a point where the lands of Robert W. Carter, E. B. Prettyman
and Mrs. S. D. Higgins corner, being the southwest corner of the
lands of E. B. Prettyman; thence by a straight line to the
corner of the lands of Mrs. Rebecca T. Viers and Miss Henrietta.
Dunlop on the west side of the road from Rockville to the Great
Falls of the Potomac; thence westwardly with the dividing line
between the lands of said Mrs. Viers and Miss Dunlop to a point
opposite the southwest corner of the lands of Charles G. "Wilson;
thence to the southwest corner of the lands of said Charles G-
"Wilson; thence with the dividing line between the lands of the
said Charles G. "Wilson and the lands of John P. Mullfinger in a,
northerly direction to the Darnestown road; thence in a straight
