ments. " This section shall apply only to the counties of Wor-
cester, Wicomico, Caroline, Anne Arundel and St. Mary's.

216. K said service money shall not be paid, the owner of
said stallion, upon applying to some justice of the peace of the
State, -in and for the county in which the owner of said
progeny resides, and swearing to the correctness of his claim,
shall have issued a writ of fieri facias upon the said progeny,
which writ shall be directed to some constable or other officer,
who thereupon shall seize said progeny and sell the same under
the provisions of the code of public general laws regulating sales
under execution from justices of the peace.

217. After the expenses attending such sale, and the amount
of the lien upon said progeny have been satisfied, the balance, if
any, shall be paid to the owner of such property sold.

218. It shall not be lawful for any person to allow horses,
mules, horned cattle, sheep or swine, to run at large in the third
election district, or for any person to allow swine to run at large
in the fifth election district.

219. Any person may impound any horses, mules, horned cat-
tle, sheep or swine found going at large in the limits of the third
district belonging to any inhabitant thereof; and any swine found
going at large in the limits of the fifth district, belonging to any
inhabitant thereof; and the owner of such horse, mule, horned
cattle, sheep or swine on reclaiming the same shall pay at the rate
of fifty cents per head for every twenty-four hours such horse,
mule, horned cattle, sheep or swine may have been impounded;
and any horse, mule, horned cattle, sheep or swine so impounded
shall be advertised by notice in writing set up at two of the
most public places in said districts, respectively.
