1510 MONTGOMERY COUNTY. [ART. 16

means whatsoever, without the consent of the owner of said fish,
pond, he shall, upon conviction thereof before a justice of the
peace of said county, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and be
fined not less than five dollars nor more than twenty dollars, or
be imprisoned in the Maryland house of correction for a period
not exceeding six months, or be both fined and imprisoned, in the.
discretion of the justice of the peace trying the case.

GAITHERSBURG.

78i The citizens of the town of Gaithersburg, in Montgomery
county, are created a body corporate by the name of "The
Commissioners of Gaithersburg," with all the powers and privi-
leges of a body politic and corporate, and by said corporate name-
may have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, plead and be
impleaded in any court of law or equity in said county, and have-
and use a common seal.

79. The limits of said town shall begin at a stone planted on
the dividing line between Ignatius T. Fulks and Emily M. Hink-
ley, and run thence with a straight line across the lands of
John W. Walker and others to a stone planted on the north-
eastern corner of Nathan H. Darby's lot; thence with a straight,
h'ne to a stone planted on the dividing line between George E.
Hoyes and Mary Augusta Hulton; thence with a straight line
across the Laytonsville road, Metropolitan Branch railroad, the
lands of the said Mary Augusta Hulton, and Georgetown and
Frederick road, to a stone planted on the land of Ignatius T.
Fulks; thence with a straight h'ne across the lands of the said
Ignatius T. Fulks, Philemon M. Smith, the Fitzgerald road, and
the lands of Martha A. Meem, to a stone planted on the land of
Henry C. Ward; thence with a straight line across the land of
said Henry C. Ward, the Metropolitan Branch railroad, the lands
of said Martha A. Meem, David M. Munro, the Georgetown and
Frederick road, to the dividing line between Ignatius T. Fulks
and James O. Eabbitt; thence with said dividing line to the.
