by a pharmacist or druggist, in case of extreme illness, when

delay may be dangerous to the patient.

183. All prosecutions for violation of the three preceding sec-
tions, which are declared to be criminal offences, shall be by pre-
sentment or indictment; and the State's attorney and justices of
the peace having knowledge of any previous conviction of any
person accused of violating the same, in preparing warrants, pre-
sentments and indictments, shall allege therein such previous

conviction, and it shall be the duty of the clerk of the circuit
court to furnish such information to the State's attorney and
grand jury; but it shall not be necessary to set forth particularly
in any such presentment or indictment the record of the former
conviction, but it shall be sufficient to allege briefly that said
person, company, corporation or association had been convicted of
a violation of any particular provision of said sections, or any of
"them. Any such indictment or proceeding may be amended at
any stage of the proceedings before final judgment and as a
matter of right.

184. The four preceding sections shall not apply to the city
of Annapolis or the first precinct of the fifth election district of
the county.

ORPHANS' COURT.

185. The regular terms of the orphans' court shall be held on
the second Tuesday of the months of February, April, June,
August, October and December, and by its adjournment, if
necessary for the despatch of business, on the Tuesday of every

week in the year other than the weeks of the regular terms.

from nine o'clock, A. M., till three o'clock, p. M., and the sessions
shall not at any time exceed one day, except at the regular times
