1360 HARFORD COUNTY. [ART. 13.

traders' licenses now are under the public general laws of this
State; provided, that before any license under this Bub-title of
this article is assigned or transferred, the assignee shall have
complied with all the provisions of said sections of this sub-title
of this article required of any applicant for an original license,
except the payment to the clerk of the circuit court of the here-
inbefore mentioned sum of three hundred and fifty dollars.

212. In any prosecution under sections 188-214 of this sub-
title of this article, it shall, only be necessary to state that the
traverser did sell or give away spirituous or fermented liquors,

without specifying the particular kind of liquor.

213. All prosecutions for violations of any of the provisions
of said sections of this sub-title of this article shall be upon pre-
sentment and indictment, except as hereinbefore specially pro-
vided for; and one-half of all fines imposed under said sections
shall be paid to tho county commissioners of Harford county for
the use of said county, and one-half of said fines shall be paid
to the school commissioners of said county for the use of the
public schools under their control.

214. Whenever the word "person" is used in any of said
sections of this sub-title of this article, it shall be construed to
embrace natural or artificial persons, partnerships, bodies politic,
or corporate clubs, associations of any description, and any or all
persons or entities who can or might obtain license under said
sections, or who can or might be prohibited from selling without,
compliance with their provisions; and said sections 188 to 214
shall be construed liberally to accomplish their purposes and pre-
vent the mischiefs occasioned by their infringement.
