99. The provisions of sections 241 to 245, of article 4, of the
public local laws, title "City of Baltimore," relating to " Cruelty
to Animals," shall apply to Frederick county as fully as if re-
peated in this article.

100. Frederick county is exempt and released from the opera-
tion and force of section 67 of article 27 of the code of public
general laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Dis-
turbance of the Public Peace."

DOORKEEPER AND FIREMAN OF COURT HOUSE.

101. The keepers of the gates or doors within the bar of the
court house, and the person who warms the court room and has
charge of the fires in the circuit court, shall each be entitled to
the sum of one dollar and fifty cents per day, for his services;
and upon a certificate from the clerk of the circuit court, of the
number of days that each of them attended, the collector of taxes
for said county shall pay the amount thereof in the same manner
that jurors are paid.
