MONTGOMERY COUNTY. [ART. 15.

Meetings.

57. The commissioners for Rockville shall meet at
some convenient place in said town on or before the
first Monday in June next succeeding their appoint-
ment, and as often thereafter as may be necessary to
discharge the duties of their office.

Bailiffs, ap-
pointment of

60. The commissioners for Rockville shall, at their
first meeting after their appointment, appoint a chief
bailiff for said town, and such under bailiffs as they
may deem necessary, to serve during the pleasure of the
commissioners, and upon the removal of said bailiffs or
any of them, shall appoint others in their stead.

Annual state-
ment.

65. The said commissioners for Rockville shall keep
and annually publish a tabular statement of the re-
ceipts and expenditures of the funds of the corpora-
tion.

Duties of chief
bailiff.

73. The chief bailiff shall attend all meetings of the
commissioners for said town, and perform such duties
as they shall direct, and exercise a general police super-
vision over said town, and see that none of the provi-
sions of this charter or the ordinances of said town are
violated.

ROADS.

1870, c. 187 repeals 1868, e, 363, and enacts as follows:

sors.

101. The county commissioners of Montgomery
county are authorized and directed to divide the sev-
eral election districts of Montgomery county into as
many road districts, and alter the same from time to
time as they may deem expedient, and to appoint one
supervisor for each of said road districts at their first
meeting in the month of April, in each and every
year.

102. Each supervisor appointed under the provi-
sions of this act is hereby required to report to the
county commissioners, at their first meeting in the
month of May, what repairs are necessary to be made
on the public roads and bridges in his road district.
