JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.
1870, c. 253 adds the following to section 124 [Sup. 1861-7, p. 540. ]

124. In addition to the two justices of the peace in
the first election district of Dorchester county, as now
provided for by law, there shall be an additional jus-
tice of the peace appointed for said district in Dorches-
ter county, and also an additional justice of the peace
in the fifth election district of said county, and the
governor is hereby authorized to appoint and commis-
sion two additional justices of the peace for said dis-
tricts.

made returnable before the same, or any justice of the
peace of the district in which the defendant may reside,
