1870, c. 274 repeals 1865, c. 31, 8. 2, [Sup. 1861-7, p. 234,] and enacts the following
in lieu thereof:
|
SEC. 2. Every public local law, mode to take effect
before the first day of June next, after the session at
which it may be passed, shall immediately after its
passage, be published once in each of three successive
weeks in such newspapers of the respective counties
in which it may operate as the county commissioners
may direct, and in case any such law is to operate in
the city of Baltimore, then once in each week for three
successive weeks in such daily newspapers published
in said city, as the mayor thereof may direct, and the
mayor and city council of Baltimore and the county
commissioners of the several counties shall provide for
payment of the expenses of such publication, but none

of the provisions of this act shall apply to either
Somerset, Dorchester or Worcester counties.

1870, c. 105 enacts that so much of the second and third sections (chapter thirty,
one) of the laws passed January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, as ap-
plied to Somerset and Worcester counties requiring the publication of all local laws
in all the newspapers of Worcester and Somerset counties be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Approved and in force March 23,1870.
1870, c. 174 approved and in force April 4, 1870, enacts the same as to Wicomico and
Dorchester counties.
