count and return the ballots that may be cast at any
election hereafter to be held.

51. The county commissioners of Frederick county
shall, on or before the first Monday in June next,
cause a survey to be made in accordance with the
lines designated in the first section of this act, and
have stones with suitable inscriptions thereon, pre-
pared, and plant one at the point where the line
leaves the road to intersect Second street, and another
at the point where the line strikes the turnpike lead-
ing from Frederick to Hagerstown.

52. The sheriff of Frederick county, shall give
notice of the place of holding the election in the
two precincts of said election district number two,
and of the division of said district as aforesaid, by
causing the same to be inserted in one or more of
the newspapers printed in Frederick city, once a
week, for four weeks, prior to the next general
election to be held after the passage of this act.
