124. In addition to the justices of the peace here-
tofore authorized by law in election district number
seven, wherein the town of Cambridge is situate,
there shall be one additional justice of the peace
appointed by the Governor, who shall hold his office
until the next regular election in this state. At the
next regular election, and at every regular election
thereafter, there shall be chosen by the qualified
voters of district number seven, four justices of the
peace, two of which shall be residents of the town
of Cambridge.

1862, c. 16S repeals 1858, c. 235, s. 2 being an act to lay off and establish a
new election district in Dorchester county, to be called election district number
twelve, or Williamsburg district, and enacts the following section as a substitute
therefor:

92. The boundaries of election district number
twelve shall be as follows: beginning at the bridge
on the main branch of the Nanticoke river, at Fed-
eralsburg, thence with the county road that separates
Dorchester from Caroline county, to Hunting creek,
thence with said creek to Choptank river, thence
with said river to Blink Horn creek, thence with
said creek to its head or until it intersects the county
road leading from Cabin creek to Hunting creek,
thence with the Manor line to Washington Chapel,
thence with the aforesaid line and road that divides
