328 ALLEGANY COUNTY. [ART. 1.

1367, c. 276 repeals section 73of said act of 1866, c. 47 and substitutes the following:

Limits of town

73. The bounds and limits of said town shall be as
follows. Beginning at the north-east corner of Mrs.
Billion's stable, and running thence north eighteen
degrees, west thirty-three perches ; north thirty-six
degrees, west forty-six perches ; north sixty degrees,
west thirty perches ; north thirty-three degrees, west
sixty-four perches; north thirty-nine degrees, west
forty-eight perches; south -eighteen degrees, west
seventy perches ; south twenty-six degrees, east one
hundred perches ; south fifty-one degrees, west forty-
eight perches ; south thirty and one-half degrees, east
one hundred perches; and then by a straight line to
the beginning.

1886, c. 47 further enacts as follows

1868, c, 47.
Election of
mayor.

74. The free male white citizens of Frostburg of
the age of twenty-one years and upwards, who have
resided in said town for six months next preceding
the election, shall, on the first Monday in June an-
nually, at the council chamber in said town, elect
one person residing therein, having real and per-
sonal property in said town to the value of three
hundred dollars, mayor of Frostburg.

Of councilman.

75. The persons qualified as required by the pre-
ceding section shall also, at the same time and place
elect five persons, who shall have resided in said
town one year next preceding said election, and who
shall be assessed on the books of said town, as coun-
cilmen of said town.

Election in
case of vacancy

76. In case of death, refusal to act, resignation or
disqualification of the mayor or any of the council-
men, the councilmen or the remaining councilmen
shall direct an election to be held to fill such
vacancy, and the mayor and councilmen, or the
councilmen in case of a vacancy in the office of
