35. The register of the city of Baltimore and the
county commissioners of the several counties of this
state, are hereby required to pay to each officer of
registration, upon their vouchers, three dollars for
each, and every day he may have been in attendance
as an officer of registration, registering the voters
of this state, and also shall pay such clerks, upon
vouchers furnished by the officers of registration, of
the several boards of registration, such sums as may
be due them, with such further sums as may be
deemed necessary for office rent.
