or furnish any salt for the curing or salting of any fish that
shall be inspected in said city, under the penalty of forfeiting
and paying for every offence five dollars.

28. If the inspector shall charge or receive any greater fee or
reward for inspection than is allowed by this article, he shall
forfeit and pay the sum of fifty dollars, to be adjudged on in-
dictment and conviction in the Criminal Court of Baltimore,
one-half to the informer and the other half to the use of the
State.

29. It shall be the duty of the inspector promptly to obey
any notice he may receive requiring his attendance in any place
in said city, and should he refuse to attend after receiving such
notice for the space of four hours, he shall be liable to a fine of
ten dollars.

80. All fines and forfeitures herein imposed, except as herein-
before provided, if over one hundred dollars, shall be recover-
able by suit in the name of the State, in the Criminal Court of
Baltimore, and if under one hundred dollars, before a justice of
the Peace, one-half to the informer and the other half to the
use of the State.

HAY AND STRAW.

Chapter 105 repeals section 413, and re-enacts the same as follows:

81. The said inspector shall be entitled to demand and receive
for each and every load of hay and straw inspected by him, of
whatever weight, one cent and one-half of a cent per hundred
pounds; and for weighing hemp, cable, anchors, dye-woods,
bark, etc., two cents per hundred pounds.
