26 CORPORATIONS. [ART. 26.

the grantor, his heirs or personal representatives will, at any
time, upon any reasonable request, at the charge of the grantee,
his heirs or assigns, do, execute, or cause to be done and exe-
cuted all such further acts, deeds and things, for the better,
more perfectly and absolutely conveying and assuring the lands
and premises hereby conveyed, or intended so to be, unto the
grantee, his heirs and assigns in manner aforesaid, as by the
grantee, his heirs and assigns, or his or their counsel, learned in
the law, shall be reasonably devised, advised or required.

9. All deeds which have been heretofore executed in pur-
suance of the provisions hereinbefore contained, shall be valid
and effectual as if the covenants in said deeds had been ex-
pressed therein, in full.

Passed March 10, 1864.

ARTICLE XXVI.

Corporations.

Chapter 371 adds the following:

SEC. 1. If any person is or shall be aggrieved by any com-
pany incorporated by the laws of this State with, authority to
transport or carry persons or property for hire by reason of any
thing done or omitted to be done by the said company, in viola-
tion or contravention of its duty in regard to the transportation
or carriage of property or persons as aforesaid, it shall and may
be lawful for such person to apply by petition in a summary
way to the Circuit Court for the county, or Superior Court for
the city of Baltimore, where said company shall have an office
for the transaction of business, for relief against the said alleged
grievance, and thereupon the said court shall appoint a short
day for hearing the matter of the said petition, of which the said
company shall have notice, and on the hearing of the parties, or
in case the said company shall fail to appear and show cause
against the said application, on examination of the said petition
and the evidence which shall or may be produced by the peti-
tioner in support thereof, and the said court shall and may pass
