can afford adequate relief in the premises; And whereas, because
of the infancy of the said Mary Anna Biggs the aforesaid heirs at
law, though anxious so to do, can make no legal division of said real
estate, amongst themselves, unless express authority for that purpose
be conferred upon the said Mary Anna Biggs; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Mary Anna Biggs of the State of Delaware, though a minor
under twenty-one years of age, be and she is hereby fully authorized
and empowered by and with the consent and approbation of the other
heirs at law of John Biggs, and with their concurrence to unite in the
division of the real estate of the said John Biggs, wheresoever situated,
and to execute and to acknowledge good and sufficient deed or deeds
for the same or any part thereof, so as to pass a perfect and complete
title therefor, and to accept and take her separate part of said real
estate to be held by her in severally in the same manner, and with like
effect, as if she were over twenty-one years of age, and otherwise com-
petent to convey.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from its
passage.

MATHEW BURTON.

AN ACT for the relief of Mathew Burton of Baltimore county.

SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed made by Mary Burton, to her husband, Mathew Burton,
on the twenty-eighth day of June, A. D. eighteen hundred and fifty-
one, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore county in
Liber H. M. F., number five, folio three hundred and forty-six, be
and the same is hereby declared valid and good to all intents and pur-
poses, as if it had been made to a trustee.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

BENONI COOLING.

AN ACT to authorize the Commissioners of Charlestown in Cecil county, to convey
to Benoni Cooling a lot or parcel of land in the town aforesaid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Charlestown are hereby authorized to con-
vey, in fee simple, to Benoni Cooling, a lot or parcel of land in said
town, being part of what has been heretofore known as the "Fair
Ground, " and containing twenty-eight perches and one hundred and
seventy-five one thousandths of a perch, more or less.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage.
