102 DEEDS, WILLS, JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS, &c.

will annexed of James D. Twilley, late of Dorchester county, deceased,
be find they are hereby authorized and empowered, to cut and sell from
the lands belonging to the estate of said deceased, wood and timber, to
an amount in value not exceeding one thousand dollars, for the purpose
of paying off the debts of said estate; provided, that before proceed-
ing to cut or sell said wood or timber, the said administrators shall give
bond to the State of Maryland, with a surety or sureties, to be approved
by the Orphans' Court for Dorchester county, in the penalty of two
thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of the trust
reposed in them by this act, and for the strict application of the pro-
ceeds of the sale of the wood or timber which may be sold by them as
aforesaid, to the payment of the debts of said estate, and in case the said
amount of one thousand dollars, shall be more than sufficient for the
the liquidation of said debts, then to hold the balance thereof for dis-
tribution among the heirs of the said James D. Twilley, deceased, at
such time and in such manner as the Orphans' Court of Dorchester
county may direct.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
date of its passage;

CHARLES A. WAILES.

AN ACT to authorize Ebenezer L. Wattes to settle his account as guardian to Charles
A. Wailes, and to deliver over the estate to his said ward, and making the said
ward answerable for debts, contracts and liabilities made by the said ward.

WHEREAS, Charles A. Wailes and his guardian, are anxious that the
said ward may receive all his property and act as a man of full age
in relation thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Ebenezer L. Wailes, guardian to Charles A. Wailes, a minor, be
and he is hereby authorized to pass his final account as guardian, before
the Orphans' Court of Worcester county, and to pay and deliver over
to the said Charles A. Wailes, all bis property, real, personal and
mixed, that may be due to him on the said final account, and to take
his receipt for the same, which shall be acknowledged and recorded in
the office of the Register of Wills for said county, and have the same
effect as if the same was executed by a person of full age.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That from and after the passage of this
act, the said Charles A. Wailes, shall be answerable for all debts, con-
tracts and liabilities, made and entered into by him, and may sue and
be sued as fully as if he was of full age.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from its
passage.
