REBECCA SMITH.
AN ACT to make a valid a deed from Joseph Tremble and William G. Haveland,
trustees, to Rebecca Smith.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed from Joseph Tremble and William C. Haveland, trustees
of the Society of Friends, constituting the Forest Meeting in Harford
county, to Rebecca Smith, of said county, conveying the northern half
of the lot whereon the Forest Meeting House now stands, lying and
being in the said county of Harford, executed on the fourteenth day of
the fourth month in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, and
which was recorded on the-same day among the Land Records of Har-
ford county in Liber A. L. J., number nine, folio four hundred and
fifty-two, be and they same is hereby declared to be as valid and effec-
tual in law to pass the estate in said deed mentioned as if the trustees
executing the same had been then legally authorized to do so.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from George W. Pembroke, Executor of George Beal,
to John H. Tucker.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a deed made and executed and acknowledged by George W.
Pembroke, Executor of George Beal, to John H. Tucker, on the eighth
day of March, eighteen hundred and sixty, all of Saint Mary's county,
and recorded on the seventh day of November, eighteen hundred and
sixty-one, in Liber J. T. B., number three, folio six hundred and nine-
teen, one of the Land Records of Saint Mary's county, be and the same
is hereby made valid to the same extent as if it had been recorded
within the period prescribed by the laws of this State; provided, that
nothing herein contained shall be construed to prejudice the rights of
any purchaser for valuable consideration, or of any bona fide creditor
whose interests or rights may have accrued since the execution and
acknowledgment of said deed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
day of its passage.
JAMES D. TWILLEY.
AN ACT to authorize Hester Twilley and Dewitt C. Handley, administrators with
the will annexed of James D. Twilley, late of Dorchester county, deceased, to cut
and sell wood and timber from the lands belonging to the estate of said deceased,
for the purpose of paying the debts thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
