PRINCESS ANNE.
The Act of August 7, 1861, ch. 98, amends section 136 as follows:
61. The commissioners of Somerset county are hereby author-
ized and empowered to appoint three persons, residents of said
county, who shall have power, and are hereby authorized and
directed to lay out and define the boundaries and limits of the
town of Princess Anne, in said county.
7. The said commissioners so as aforesaid appointed shall
cause a record and plot of their proceedings to be made, and
the- said proceedings and plot shall be returned to the office of
the county commissioners of said county, where the same shall
be subject to objection one month, at the expiration of which
time, if approved by the said county commissioners, the same-
shall be recorded among the records of said county by the clerk
of the Circuit Court.
8. The necessary expenses incurred in- the execution of this
act shall be in the discretion of said county commissioners paid
by a levy upon the assessable property of said town, at the next
regular county levy.
9. This act shall take effect from the date of approval of the
said proceedings by the said county commissioners.
SCHOOLS.
The. Act of May 9, 1861, ch. 15, repeals section 198 and substitutes the following:
10. The interest arising from any school funds apportioned
by the State to Somerset county, or any such funds as may be-
long to said county, shall be paid directly to the treasurer of
said board of school commissioners, and the balance necessary
for the support of public education, beyond any fees for tuition,
which may be received as hereinbefore provided, shall be levied
and collected by taxation upon the assessable property of said
county, in the same manner that other taxes are levied and col-
lected, which sums, when so collected, shall also be paid over to
